Warranty
Warranty Details As a watch repair company, WatchRepair.net LLC offers a one (1) year warranty on our watch service and repairs. If your repair includes an overhaul or a new movement you receive a 12 month warranty on the running and timekeeping. If a problem arises with your watch during the 12 month warranty period following our initial services, at our discretion, we will repair or replace any damaged parts and/or correct the repair execution. All other rights resulting from the faulty execution of services are expressly excluded. Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by accident or negligence and does not cover batteries, case, strap or bracelet (unless we have replaced), crystals (unless we have replaced) or return shipping charges. Warranty is void if our service department discloses instances of tampering. If the said watch has been rusted or abused, such as dropped or dropped in water the warranty may be void. Most vintage watches should NOT be considered water-resistant!

William Thompson

Life and Times

With an a Master of Fine Arts diploma in one hand and an Anthropology PhD in the other, William Thompson discovered a way to parlay his passion for mountaineering into a fascinating career as a photojournalist – using the camera lens as his ultimate “paintbrush.”

Thompson worked for 12 years with National Geographic, having created the first and only complete aerial coverage of Mt. Everest for the magazine. Other exotic assignments involved traveling via yak train through the Bhutanese Himalaya, living with pygmies in deep of Africa, and photographing the Asian elephant on its tragic path toward extinction.

His commercial image work includes major campaigns for Wells Fargo, Leo Burnett, Starbucks, Marlboro, Boeing, United Airlines, Intel, and Holland America.
