Terms of Sale Agreement
WatchRepair.net is the provider of a service on behalf of its clientele. By the customer (“you”) sending in your watch to WatchRepair.net ("us" or “we”), you
are agreeing to all of the terms and conditions set forth herein. These terms, together with applicable additional terms and conditions, are terms of a legal agreement
between you and WatchRepair.net, and are collectively referred to herein as the "Agreement”.
Initial Engagement. Upon your verbal or written communication with us to have your watch repaired by WatchRepair.net, we will collect $19.95 to cover the return shipping and
handling of your watch as well as to help defray some of the insurance costs while the watch is in transit. Once the $19.95 is collected, which can be paid via credit card, we will
send out a WatchRepairPak, a specially designed protective box to safeguard your watch while in transit, that you should receive within 2 business days. The original shipping of the WatchRepair Pak, the incoming shipping, and the quote for the
repair are absolutely free. In order to minimize risk of damage to your watch, only the WatchRepairPak that we ship to you should be used to send us your watch.
Pricing.Prices discussed by phone prior to customer sending in their watch are subject to change once the watch has been received and fully examined. Prices listed on our site do not apply to Chronograph and vintage watches.
Credit Card Authorization:
Payment / Refund Policy. Upon receipt of your watch, WatchRepair.net will expeditiously contact you with the estimated cost for the repairs. Upon your acceptance of our repair estimate, written or verbal, you will be required to
pay in full for the repairs with a credit card. Any estimate provided by WatchRepair.net is subject to change depending on variables such as the unforeseen difficulty and complexity of the repair that needs to be done, obtaining missing parts, etc.
Once payment is received, our watchmakers shall commence their work immediately as the decision to proceed is considered final. Vintage watches are not warranted against moisture unless expressly indicated when the watch is returned.
WatchRepair.net does not guarantee that it can repair your watch.

WatchRepair.net, LLC and its affiliates will do our best to completed work within 30 days. However, this estimated time of completion cannot be guaranteed due to the potential of
parts being on backorder or the need to be located. Customer understands the length of repair time is not guaranteed, and will not hold WatchRepair.net, LLC responsible for any delays.
certain conditions such as the possibility of completion within this time frame is not guaranteed as certain conditions such as backordered parts or the precise length of repair time.
WatchRepair.net provides estimates based on average repair times for similar type timepieces and procedures.
Return Shipment. Prior to shipping your watch back to you, WatchRepair.net will attempt to contact you to confirm the physical address to which you would like us to ship it to. The
vast majority of the packages we send out deliberately require a signature at the time of receipt to ensure the safety and security of your watch. It is your responsibility to ensure that someone will be at that address to accept the package. Because
packages delivered per release signature are considered delivered, it is imperative that your address does not have a Release Signature Status with the courier, which allows packages to be dropped off unattended and unsigned. It is your
responsibility either to alert WatchRepair.net to this issue or to resolve it on your own with the courier.
WatchRepair.net is not responsible for:
1. Items delivered to incorrect addresses supplied by the sender;
2. Unsuccessful deliveries arising from the recipient not being present at time of delivery at the address supplied by the sender;
3. Delays or mishaps in delivery due to the fault of the delivery service contracted (UPS, FedEx, etc.).
Risk-Of-Loss. You remain responsible for the risk-of-loss for watch(es) until delivery of the same to WatchRepair.net. You are responsible for any damages that may occur to your
product while in transit until we inspect and sign for your package. In the event of a claim with the shipping company, you are responsible for providing proof of purchase, and/or appraised value as well as proof of shipment in order to
collect oninsurance. If you do not provide proper documentation, WatchRepair.net will not obtain insurance reimbursement. WatchRepair.net strongly recommends that the timepiece being shipped is photographed before shipping.
What shipping insurance does and does not cover. Shipping insurance covers the appraised value of the timepiece, but does not cover sentimental value. Prior to the repairs being made, the watch is covered for its replacement value minus the
cost of repair. After the repairs were made, shipping insurance covers the replacement value of the watch only. Coverage is limited to the lesser of the amount specified upon signing up and the actual value of the watch.
Shipping Policies. To minimize risk to your watch as well as ensuring that the insurance coverage is binding, the following packing instructions must be adhered to:
1. All packages must be double boxed. WatchRepair.net will send an extra box for
return shipping along with your WatchRepair Pak for your convenience.
2. The Fed-Ex tracking number must appear on the inner box as well as the outer
one.
3. All packages must be properly packed and sealed to withstand the course of
transit.
4. All packages must be dropped off at a shipper’s location, handed to a carrier
staff driver or taken to a carrier staffed location. You must get a receipt from
the
shipper as proof of shipment. You may not use unmanned drop boxes.
5. Never indicate anything on the air waybill or box that would suggest high
value, such as the words watch, clock, or known jewelry/watch retailers, brands or
auction houses or any abbreviations such as GIA, GTL, EGL, DIA, etc. “WatchRepair.net”
should not appear on the box or label either, simply write “WR.net”.
6. Do not declare a value to the carrier.
7. On packages sent from New York zip codes 10036 and 10017 and Los Angeles zip
codes, 90013, 90014, 90015, 90016, 90017, shipper must use an alternate address
on
the air waybill that is not one of these zip codes.
Owner Responsibility. Prior to shipping back a timepiece
to its owner, WatchRepair.net will attempt to
contact that owner to confirm the shipping address to where the timepiece should
be
shipped. We will attempt to repeatedly contact the owner via phone and/or email
until
the owner is contacted. If after 10 phone calls, 10 emails and one calendar year
from the date of the first attempted contact the owner has still not yet
successfully
contacted us regarding his watch, WatchRepair.net has the right to do with the timepiece as it wishes with no responsibility towards the original owner.
